
TESTING
This page is designed to help you with any last minute questions you may have about the testing process and tips for success. When testing for either your permit or your driver's license you must go to a state testing facility. To find one near you click here.
Written Test (for permit)
Must begin by 3:45 pm otherwise you will not have sufficient time to complete it. No appointment needed.
If you are under the age of 18 you must have a blue card to show that you have completed the state mandated classroom requirement.
A certified Birth Certificate (from the county)
Another form of I.D. (like a Social Security Card)
If you are under the age of 18 you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or have their notarized signature with you on an application.
If you need to wear Corrective Lenses you must also bring them.
Money for the permit fee.
Road Test (for license)
You must schedule an appointment in advance.
Arrive 15 minutes early
Go to the head of the line and let them know you have arrived.
If you are under the age of 18 you must have a white card to show that you have completed the state mandated behind-the-wheel requirement.
Your driver's permit
An insurance card for the vehicle you will be testing in.
